This figure also looks like a pin at first glance which represents the word place or location. Therefore, in this logo design, a visual double entendre is used to make the logo more interesting in a clever way. 

Consider Symmetry and Proportion

Symmetry and proportion are quite important topics when designing a logo. You cannot just skip this option and create a logo without it. These rules need to be followed to create professional logos that are timeless and appealing too. 

The Apple logo does not seem to follow this rule at first glance. But, when you look carefully, every element of the logo uses symmetry and proportion. Even the bite in the apple is also in proportion with the whole logo.

One of the main motives here is to create a professional logo design that is unique. To reach this goal, using custom lettering is the best idea. You can give your logo a unique and special feel with amazing custom lettering. 

Usually, after choosing what to write, people go to the font menu and choose one. But in order to be unique, you need to do things a little differently. Get a custom type created as it will ensure uniqueness and appeal to audiences more. 

Passive Vs Active

Negative space can also be referred to as the white or empty space left in the logo. It is better to have one to represent other elements clearly. In addition to this, negative space can be used cleverly in a logo to represent something. 

For instance, the FedEx logo has a hidden arrow created with negative space. The arrow is not useless but represents what the company does.
