Old Version of Realme C1 was launched in India back in September, at Price Tag Rs 6,999 with a 2GB + 16GB memory and storage configuration but currently available for Rs 7,499. According to the teaser on Flipkart, the company could soon launch a variant or variants of the Realme C1 with more storage and RAM.

It is possible that we may see a 3GB RAM variant of the Realme C1 with 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. A 4GB RAM variant sounds unlikely as Realme will have to price it higher and around the Realme 2, and the company would ideally want some separation in pricing between the two phones.

The teaser on Flipkart is touting an entertainment-centric phone with a big screen, big battery and big storage. The Realme C1 mostly fits the bill as it offers a tall 6.2-inch HD+ (720×1520) display with a notch. The phone also houses a beefy 4,230mAh battery which delivers close to two days of battery life on a single charge. Like the Realme 2, the Realme C1 also gets a Snapdragon 450 chipset and ships with Android 8.1 Oreo with Oppo’s ColorOS 5.1 on top.

The Realme C1 has been a popular budget smartphone for the company and it isn’t surprising to hear that Realme plans to launch new variants of the device. That being said, Realme could also be close to launching a brand new smartphone in India. The Realme A1’s launch could happen soon as well and it is said to fall in the same segment as the Realme C1.
