5 Videos That Will Inspire You To Learn Coding

Writing code is a skill everyone should know. We are living in a time where technology pretty much runs our lives. In order to keep up with the times, it is important to learn coding. Of course not all of us go and study to become programmers but this is no excuse. There is a world of information out there and we will prove it to you. We have found some videos that will inspire you to learn code. Let’s have a look at them.

1. Stay hungry, Stay foolish

This is an amazing video by the more so amazing Steve Jobs at Stanford University. Listening to his story, he explained how his parents (not biological) never had the opportunity to go to college. Based on this his biologic mother did not want to sign the adoption papers. His adoptive parents then said they will send Steve Jobs to college and that is where hi life began. After 6 months he could not see the value he was getting out of this very expensive college tuition. He dropped out of college and chose some courses that interested him. He took a calligraphy class and ten years later when he deigned the Mac, he could use those skills. If he did not take that class, personal computers might not have the wonderful typography that they do. This video is inspiring because he made a name for himself that is larger than life. If he can do it, so can you. Who know what you new code you could come up with?

2.Anybody can learn

  • Bill Gates
  • Mark Zuckerberg
  • Chris Bosh
  • Gabe Newell
  • Drew Houston
  • Elena Silenok

These are some of the featured individuals in this short video. Of course it is going to be good with some of the biggest names in it. They cannot all be wrong, can they?” Programmers are the rock stars of the future” – will-i-am. How does programming work? This might be the single most important question you ask yourself. All Chinese students learn computer programming; in the US less than 5% are taught the language of the future. With everything moving faster and technology becoming a great part of our present and future, it is necessary to have everyone learn how to program a computer. If not, the rest of the world can move forward. We need to enforce these teachings in our schools. You do not have to become a programmer to know how technology is built. One day you will have to pay a programmer to write a simple code for you. One you could have done yourself, if you were ever taught.

4. 14 Year Old Prodigy Programmer Dream In Code

Santiago Gonzales is a 14 year old programmer and software-developer. If a 14 year old can learn code, what tells you that you can’t? With more than 15 iOS apps to his name, he might be the next Steve Jobs. At 12 years old he went to college full-time to earn his Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at the age of 16. By the time he is 17 years old, he would have earned his Master’s. Even though the first computer programming language was created in 1957, the new generation is coming up with incredible new codes. With understanding of over a dozen different programming languages, he is on his way to becoming a great success story.

5.What Most Schools Don’t Teach

90% of US schools don’t teach one of the most important subjects of the future. In the current world we live in, you have to be able to find out this information for yourself. Learning how to program a computer, teaches you how to think. This is the message in this video. It will inspire you to dig deeper and learn code, one day at a time. It is not impossible for you to learn the language. Anything you want to learn is going to be challenging. You don’t have to be a genius to learn code. You have to be determined.
